Ontario bell rings for losses

ONTARIO–a member of the football team of the Ontario secondary school is first in line Sunday night to ring HIGH SCHOOL football field of the victory bell-but for once, vote indicates a loss.

On Saturday, the seventh-grade student Brian Ward died after being treated for an ear infection.

At 7 pm Sunday, hundreds gathered in a football field high school in Ontario to light the candles down in his honor.

“It was just too fast for Brian to go,” said his father, Todd Ward, as tears streamed down his cheeks. “Brian played here and have the opportunity to ring the Bell several times, and I want everyone to ring a Bell to mention to him tonight. I want him to be able to hear it from up above.
